Kalmanovich is a ready-to-wear label launched in 2009 and based in Moscow and New York. The Russian designer is inspired by her mother's classical style as well as her love for the ballet and traditional theater

A LA RUSSE creator, Anastasia Romantsova, appeals to the Russian culture, absorbing the motifs of European and Asian influences while preserving its own natural and cultural identity 

The key idea of her brand is to revive the Russian handmade technology emphasizing commitment to the exquisite tailoring in all models

However, models created by brand do not resemble replicas of vintage or antique items. The secrets of the masters of the past are combined with timeless classic cut lines, contemporary forms and motifs
