Minimarket is a contemporary women’s wear label that was founded in Stockholm
in 2006 by a trio of creative sisters
Minimarket stands for luxury without pretension. Its hallmark is its range
of bold, vibrant prints that are created each season in house
The Spring Summer 2015 collection “Posing with a Parrot” is a tribute to
Wanderlust and recalls the designers’ holidays past and present with references
to their collection of souvenirs. A postcard, a stone from south America, wild
flowers billowing along the coastlines of Europe: the memories of these are
imbued in the eye-catching silk ‘Off-shore’ print and Bouganvillia pattern.
The collection is characterized by a functional decadence visible in the pared
down silhouettes and use of neoprene and mesh fabrics. Casual items such as
t-shirts, shorts and short-sleeved button up shirts are inspired by the more
relaxed tourist, whereas loose-cut trousers, long dresses in an aqueous green
and asymmetric silver dove grey Costa dress would suit the more elegant beach-
goer
